01/76 date coded Riddell PAC 3 helmet w/OEM Dungard DG 210 mask(not a repro.). This is, essentially, a holdover from '76 and eventually worn, possibly reconditioned, Jim Zorn helmet in 1978.
Angled 1 " tape residue on opposite side(right ear hole), similar to the TAK 29 helmet. This helmet differs to Zorn's rookie helmet(1976) in that the Dungard has been raised about .75" to 1 inch higher(at top fastening point), and to note the upwardly angled clear Dungard fasteners on each side, just forward of the ear holes. Trademark extra large leather jaw pads are present, and seemed to be Zorn's preferred size, however, he has been known to wear a mixed sized pair; i.e. one large & one x-large on the opposite side. Seahawks trademark(1976-78) silver paint (overspray in various areas) on impregnated white shell at the core.
